The Merrimac Library Youth Services Department offers Summer Reading programs for children in preschool up to age 17.

A colorful infographic titled Summer Reading by the Numbers 2025 shows stats: 28 free events, 185 scoops of ice cream earned, 384 total participants, 3,196 childrens books checked out, and 133 books read by teens.

We had a very busy and successful summer as you can see!
