Merrimac Public Library is part of the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium (MVLC) a network of 36 public libraries located throughout Merrimack Valley region of northeastern Massachusetts. You can use your Merrimac library card at any of the libraries, click here to see the list of all member libraries.
Any Merrimac resident is eligible to get a Merrimac library card. Town of Merrimac employees, property owners, and Merrimac based businesses may also be eligible for a library card.
You can apply for a library card in-person or online. A physical card, is issued in person at Merrimac Public Library. Bring proof of identity and current address/employment. Children must be six & up and parent/guardian must be present and sign the application for any child under twelve.
To be eligible for a MVLC eCard you need to:
- Be a Massachusetts resident, and
- currently do not have a library card from an MVLC member library
